Five Thorne Air Cadets took part in Wing Cross Country races on 15 January at Thornes Park, Wakefield.

The annual race takes place over a 2.5 mile course.  There were over 200 cadets from across the South and West Yorkshire Wing taking part in the event, which took place on the coldest and frostiest day of the winter so far.  Although we did not win, the Squadron's runners did achieve respectable positions overall.
