Cadets from 750 (Thorne) Squadron joined up with cadets from 23 (South Elmsall) Squadron on  28th and 29th April for a practise expedition for their Duke of Edinburgh's Bronze Award.

After planning routes and walking in the Thorne, Stainforth and Hatfield areas, the cadets camped out at Hatfield Water Park.

Heavy rain on the Sunday tested their wet weather gear to the limit, but spirits were not dampened, with several cadets saying how much they had enjoyed the experience.

The weekend was a practice for their actual expedition, which takes place in the summer.
